There are many differences between the life of a high school student and a college student. Some people will be able to jump right in and adjust to this change seamlessly. Others will take years to adapt or may never grab hold of the whole college experience. High School and College are both educational grounds for a student to grow and enrich their lives with knowledge. They can also go to clubs and meet new people instead of the friends they were stuck with from kindergarten to 12th grade. Students choose colleges that support their beliefs and careers. It makes it easier to make friends when you have things in common and if students are going for the same reasons then most likely they will. College students have a significantly more freedom than high school students. When comparing the two it becomes clear. Thinking about it more leads to the realization that there is a reason for that. People need to be taught rules before you expect them to understand them. Taking someone from a different time period and placing them in our time would lead to disaster and confusion for them.
